Weatherspoon Art Museum
Corner of Spring Garden and Tate Streets
Greensboro, North Carolina
With chalk, I drew a map of the streets surrounding the Weatherspoon
on a section of brick wall near the main entrance of the museum,
facing Spring Garden Street. The area represented extended from the
Westerwood neighborhood in the north to Glenwood in the south, and
from Lindley Park in the west to the Central Business District in the
east. The location of the Weatherspoon was marked with an X and the
words, "You Are Here." The map remained for one day before it was
erased by museum staff.
